Brenntag Specialties and Synonym Partner to launch the “Better with Bio”
Brenntag, the global leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, and Synonym, the production platform for biomaterials, have announced a strategic collaboration to fast-track bioproducts to the global market.
The partnership will offer end-to-end solutions to brands looking to integrate next-generation ingredients and formulations.
The “Better with Bio” program will combine Synonym’s proprietary engineering solutions and production capabilities with Brenntag’s global customer reach, market knowledge, and formulation expertise. Together, the companies will work closely to increase the adoption of biobased ingredients, focusing first on the Beauty & Personal Care and Household, Industrial and Institutional Cleaners markets.
Consistent with Brenntag’s leadership in sustainability, the program will allow brands and manufacturers to access a portfolio of multi-functional biobased ingredients combined with formulation services to deliver turnkey solutions and address growing consumer demand. Leading beauty, personal care, and cleaning companies face a growing challenge to their product portfolios: their customers are demanding better-performing, more sustainable products, in a world of increasing regularity complexity. Biobased ingredients can deliver on these mandates, and the “Better with Bio” platform will make these biobased ingredients accessible to companies for the first time.
