It contributes to strengthening the knowledge base of companies and realise the transfer of scientific findings into industrial applications. It supports with funding applications and project management as well as the coordination of R&D alliances. Technology scouting, targeted support in business development and market development as well as individual B2B networking complement its services.
Chemie-Cluster Bayern posted on LinkedIn: “Spring is, in a way, a time of natural cycles and renewal. Therefore, there is probably no better time to announce our partnership with the Renewable Carbon Initiative.
The Renewable Carbon Initiative (RCI), launched by the renowned nova-Institut (Hürth, Germany), aims to work together to end the dependence of organic chemistry on fossil carbon.
By focussing on renewable carbon – be it from biomass, CO2, or recycling – this initiative opens up new avenues for the development and application of environmentally friendly technologies and products.
This transition is essential for the defossilisation of our industry and makes a significant contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions or even storing carbon.
At the same time, it offers enormous opportunities for growth and innovation in Germany as a centre of industry and in Bavaria in particular. By accelerating the transition to a climate-neutral circular economy, we are not only strengthening our competitiveness, but also making a decisive contribution to protecting our natural resources and environment.
We look forward to working with RCI and all our partners towards a future where sustainable carbon cycles form the backbone of the chemical industry.” AT
