22. May 2023
The Renewable Materials Conference in Siegburg/Cologne (Germany) will start tomorrow and might turn out to be the must-go event of 2023.
The event hopes to tackle topics such as “The chemical and plastics industry will need to replace 1,000,000,000 tonnes of fossil carbon per year with renewable carbon from biomass, CO2, and recycling to achieve net-zero. How can this work?”
And the line-up is already very promising with 80 presentations, 20 panel discussions, 41 exhibitors, a bunch of workshops, and up to 500 expected delegates expected (a nice 420 have already registered). Of those 90 % are from the various related industries (80 % will be on-site).
The unique overarching concept of Renewable Carbon which was made with a fossil-free future in mind will showcase of its solutions build on biomass, CO2, and recycling. The world’s key players in renewable chemistry and materials will present, share, and discuss their latest developments, visions and strategies (a list of all companies is available). Next to high-quality presentation and workshops the event will have ample opportunities for networking (which has already begun online for all registered delegates via ZOOM Events and will continue during the conference and even after the conference until 20 June for follow-up).
The location of the event, the conference centre “Rhein Sieg Forum” in Siegburg near Bonn and Cologne (Germany) is easily accessible by ICE high-speed train from Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt and Cologne – and if you cannot make it in person, just join the hybrid event online.
The 60-page conference journal, including the final program and the companies nominated for the innovation award, can already be downloaded as well. AT
