Classified as vital, Novamont is open and operational

As a company whose activities are considered essential under the March 22 decree of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Novamont Group has taken measure to remain open and fully operational at our locations in Italy and abroad.
To achieve this has required efforts across the board yet the support, ideas, professionalism, innovative solutions of all our people, working at our sites or remotely, have made it possible, together with the collaboration of all players in our value chain.

We had to rethink our system and organization quickly and give absolute priority to the health and safety of our people, aligning as much as possible their needs with those of our production.

From the outset, we anticipated and then followed the guidance provided by the competent authorities to fight the emergency. We’ve activated tools and organisational solutions never adopted before and applied everything necessary to enhance hygiene and safety measures, guarantee the limitation of contacts inside and outside our company, reduce the number of people in the workplace.

We’ve also implemented a series of changes in the production system and back-up solutions. We suspended what is not essential for production or for the most crucial developments and we are following strict sanitization protocols in all areas, including production, packaging and shipping.

The extraordinary nature and the quick evolution of events demand us daily considerations and adjustments. However, we are also discovering that we can do a lot, even in this complicated situation. In this new perspective, thanks also to Novamont continuous and concrete commitment to our people, there is a renewed sense of solidarity and awareness that no one can get out of this emergency alone. More than ever, our people are united by a sense of community. That’s a great strength that we believe characterizes us not only as a company but also as an entire value chain.
